These terms govern your use of services provided by ForensiCo Legal Group (Pty) Ltd ("ForensiCo," "we," "us"). By submitting a case, you agree to these terms.

Our service

ForensiCo provides automated forensic audio authentication for U.S. civil matters. This includes cryptographic hashing, independent timestamping, a fixed automated cleaning process, and a certificate documenting these steps. ForensiCo does not provide services related to criminal matters, and does not provide expert testimony or courtroom appearances. Where a matter requires either, a qualified human expert should be engaged separately.

Payment

Fees are payable upfront, before processing begins, according to the pricing published on our website at the time of your submission. All fees are quoted in U.S. Dollars and processed securely through Paddle.

What our certificate does and does not confirm

Our certificate attests to the technical integrity and unaltered chain of custody of your submitted audio file, from the point it reaches our system onward. It does not verify the identity of the submitting party, does not assess the truthfulness or accuracy of any recording's content, does not confirm that a recording was lawfully made, and does not guarantee that any court or tribunal will admit it as evidence. Full detail is set out in the "Scope & Limitations" section of the certificate itself.

Limitation of liability

ForensiCo's total liability to you, arising from any claim related to a case, is limited to the fee you paid for that specific case. ForensiCo is not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including loss of a legal case, loss of income, or reputational harm, arising from reliance on our certificate or services. Nothing in this clause limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Intellectual property

The design, wording, and structure of our certificate template and website are the property of ForensiCo and may not be reproduced without permission.

Governing law

These terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes will first be addressed through good-faith negotiation between the parties.

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always available on this page.

ForensiCo Legal Group (Pty) Ltd ("ForensiCo") takes the protection of your personal information seriously, and this policy explains exactly how we handle it, consistent with applicable U.S. federal and state privacy laws.

What we collect

To process your case, we collect your name, email address, and the audio file you submit. Payment is handled securely through Paddle; ForensiCo never receives or stores your card details directly.

How we use it

Your information is used for one purpose only: processing your case. This means authenticating and cleaning your audio file, generating your certificate, and delivering your results to you. We do not use your information for marketing, and we never sell or share it for any purpose beyond delivering your service.

No human ever accesses your file content

ForensiCo's entire processing pipeline is automated by design. No person at ForensiCo opens, listens to, or views the content of any audio file submitted to us, at any stage. This isn't a policy promise alone; it's how the system is built to work.

Security

Your data is protected by strict automated access controls, read-only file locking immediately upon submission, and secure backup storage, with encryption at rest in active development.

Third parties

ForensiCo works with a small number of specialist service providers, each selected to perform one specific function: secure cloud storage for backup copies, independent timestamping authorities to verify exactly when your file was received, and payment processing to handle your transaction securely. Each provider receives only the minimum information required to do that one job, and none are permitted to use your data for advertising, resale, or any purpose beyond that task. ForensiCo remains directly responsible for your information at every step of this process, regardless of which provider is involved.

How long we keep your information

We retain case files and personal information for 5 years following case completion, consistent with common civil-litigation record-keeping practice, after which it is permanently and securely deleted.

What this certificate service does not cover

ForensiCo's certification confirms the technical integrity and unaltered chain of custody of your submitted audio, from the moment it reaches us. It does not verify your identity as the submitting party, does not assess the truthfulness of any recording's contents, and does not confirm that a recording was made lawfully, these remain your responsibility or that of your legal counsel. Your rights regarding your information

You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, request corrections, request deletion, and object to how your information is processed. Depending on your state of residence, you may have additional rights under applicable state privacy law. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at delivery@forensicolegal.com.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or the law. The current version will always be available on this page.

If your submitted audio file is rejected as unprocessable (for example, an unsupported format or a corrupted file), you will be given 72 hours to upload a valid replacement file at no additional charge.

If a valid file is not received within that 72-hour window, or you are unable to provide one, you will receive a full refund, no questions asked.

If you wish to cancel your case before it has been picked up for processing, you are entitled to a full refund with no issue.

Once processing has started, cancellation is not available. ForensiCo's automated pipeline runs to completion within minutes of starting, so by the time a cancellation request could be actioned, your certificate and cleaned audio will already exist. Any concerns after processing is complete are handled as a support matter rather than a cancellation.

ForensiCo checks for new submissions on a schedule, so processing begins within 4 hours of payment. Once picked up, processing typically completes within minutes.

Your cleaned audio file and certificate are delivered by email, to up to 3 recipients at no extra charge.

If a delivery email fails or bounces, please contact us at delivery@forensicolegal.com with the correct email address, and we will resend your files at no charge.
